Train One-To-One
At the Boxing Laboratory:

- Single booking: £60
- Booking of 5 or more sessions over six weeks, booked upfront: £55 per session
Mobile session – at your home, workplace or a park (Additional fee may apply depending on travellng required)

Two to one sessions

A determined route to your personal best!
Training tailored for YOU
Our chief coach Andy Hojdys offers private one to one, two to one, and small group sessions, either in the boxing gym at NMYCC or in a space of your choosing – your home, workplace or even a local park.
He uses real boxing training as a tool, to make you more confident, to make you stronger and make you fighting fit without getting hit. In your personal training, Andy will teach you real boxing technique: how to punch correctly and how to defend yourself effectively. You’ll learn realistic boxing combinations, correct stance and guard, footwork, and gain an understanding of boxing principles and strategies.
He is also fully qualified to assess your readiness for sparring, and to supervise sparring with a partner if you wish.

A boxing workout is not only about punching. Every boxing workout will include targeted exercise, building on your own personal starting point, to make your legs, core and arms stronger than ever before.
Boxing training will help you boost metabolism, lose weight, improve strength, speed and endurance in amazingly short period of time.
It will also make you feel great, boosting confidence and improving mood.
An inspirational coach
Andy is passionate about the sport and an inspirational trainer for students at all levels. He was himself an amateur national and European KB championships medalist, successful amateur boxer and an undefeated professional boxer. He has trained and managed a professional boxing youth world champion and multiple medalists in amateur kickboxing and boxing tournaments at regional, national and international levels. He has also trained other trainers and instructors, and is helping a former Olympic boxing gold medalist and two-time professional world champion to stay fighting fit.
But he’s not just a trainer for the elite – he also works with absolute beginners, older people, and people with special needs. He will tailor a programme that is right for YOU, and he will always take you just as seriously as you take the challenge of becoming your best. He is waiting to teach you all he knows about the noble art of boxing. You will train like a pro!

Simulated Altitude training

Andy also offers TRAINING AT SIMULATED ALTITUDE, using a Hypoxic Generator – a training method used by many elite athletes across the world.
Research shows that strategically alternating between breathing low-oxygen and normal air can boost your immune system, increase your red blood cell count and provide a range of other health, fitness and athletic performance benefits, to improve speed, endurance and power.
