Unleash Your Potential at Hertfordshire Boxing Laboratory
Looking to get fit, build confidence, lose some weight, or compete in the ring? Whatever your starting point, Hertfordshire Boxing Laboratory is your go-to destination.
We currently run 16+ and adults mixed classes on Monday Wednesday and Thursday at 8.00pm
We will be starting women only classes – times to be confirmed – in 2025.

Total Body Workout
Boxing engages every muscle group, from your core to your arms and legs. As you throw punches, block, and move, you build strength, burn calories, and improve your cardiovascular health.

Boxing for Competition
Both sexes, age 16 – 40
Are you ready to take your boxing skills to the next level? As an official England Boxing-affiliated club, we provide the perfect environment for fighters to develop their skills, achieve their goals, and compete at local, regional, and national levels. Our affiliation means that we follow the highest standards of training and safety, and also that we can give you a clear pathway to progress through the amateur ranks, from beginner to elite-level boxer.
As you move from fitness training through supervised sparring to full competition fighting, your safety will always be our priority
An inspirational coach
Under the guidance of our chief coach, Andy Hojdys you will be supported in developing the necessary technique, strategy, fitness, and mental preparation for winning in the ring. He will also guide you through the process of obtaining your amateur license, entering competitions and preparing for your fights.
He is an ex-professional boxer, an England Boxing registered coach, and licensed with British Boxing Board of Control. He has experience of training boxers from the most junior local levels of competition up to elite boxers in the England Team.
